Salutatorian, Jim Schmit with Valedictorian, Lynn Soderstrom. Diplomas, presented by Skip Stratton-Schcol Board Trustee, were received by 30 students from Troy Higli School on May 20, 1979. The Guest Speaker, Bill Hall-Editor, Lewiston Morning Tribune, spoke of the true meaning of individual successfulness and eased the tension for the Graduates with a few humorous jokes. Addresses were given by Valedictorian, Lynn Soderstrom and Salutatorian, Jim Schmit. Those earning scholarships were introduced and the winner of the Berg Achievement Award was announced as Kelly Boles. A slide show of candid pictures of the Graduates ' Senior year was shown to the music of The Way We Were. This special presentation was considered the highlight of the evening. CLASS MOTTO: Together we have laughed and cried, forever we will share The memories of our high school days, and moments we had there.
