STUDENT GOVERNMENT Jim Schmit, THS President, has worl ed closely with Mr. Truka and his fellow officers making this year an exceptional one. Delvin Hackwith, THS Vice President, added his helping hand in Student Body functions. The student Council was very active once again this year. Projects ranged from the carnival in the fall, to rollerskating in the spring. Student Body funds were responsible for the purchase of new curtains and a new sound system for the gym. The Student Council also sponsored a number of National Assemblies and a Valentine dance. These, and other projects, were made possible due to the ability of the students to cooperate and work together with the faculty. TROJAN TORCH EDITORS This 1979 school year has been a special time in each of our lives. Throughout our experiences at THS we have expanded our knowledge and interests and gained precious memories that will last forever. We, the Editors, have tried to capture some of the most important events that the student and faculty of THS will long remember. We hope that in years to come all of us will be able to look back and relive those nostalgic moments that we have shared together.
