f Since the beginning of time man voice, or with crude instruments he beginnings music has grown to be the understood by all those who hear it, may be. It seems that when any great ten to commemorate it. All the great has made music, either with his could create. From those early univ e r s al language, loved and no matter what their nationality event takes place, music is writ- stories in the history of mankind have been set to music. Perhaps our story is not a great one, but it's a story we wish to remember, one that will mean much to us in years to come. So we have put the story of our school year together within the framework of a musical theme. All the feelings and emotions of our school life can be expressed as well as recalled through the median of music. Some melody will call to memory gay, happy carefree hours such as the close friendships we made, the winning of that most important basketball game, the warm feeling that came when we had a report card so good we were proud to take it home to Dad and Mother. But other music will recall the more serious moments of school life, the long hard hours spent in study, dis- appointment over a lost football game, the hurt which came when we failed to live up to the best we could do. It is the hope of the Yearbook Staff that when you look back on some future date at this year's School Symphony you can recall your part in the presentation with pride and joy.
