FRANK L. SINGLETARY Superintendent fuhemzfefzzzhzfk Qffessag It is indeed a pleasure to me to have the opportunity of saying a few words to the students through this very fine annual. I have observed a good spirit of work, loyalty, and cooperation on the part of the Annual Staff and Sponsor. For those traits you are to be congratulated. They constitute the very essence upon which a full, useful life depends. Students, as you move out from the environments of this High Sehool may I ad- monish you to pitch your camp on the sunny side of the street, shady people live on the other side. Set your aims high, always striving for the things that are lofty and noble and fate will be kind to you, and will reward you. Sincerely yours, F. L. SINGLETARY Superintendent

Mic! zz 5 MR. R. J. RODDY MISS PATRICIA REYNOLDS High School Principal Elementary School Principal Qflexxag Tribute for a job well done is due the pupils and teachers who have made possible this splendid edition of THE TIGER,the pages of which contain memories that will remain dear to you through the years to come. Surely the same spirit of cooperation and loyalty which has characterized this school year is reflected in this book. To the Seniors of 1952, I sincerely hope that your High School days have been pleasant ones. As you leave us, may the things you have learned and the friendships you have made during this time serve as an inspiration that will go with you through life, and that will create within you the determination to become the kind of a man or woman that your parents, your friends and your Creator would have you to be. R. .l. RODDY High School Principal
