He was named to the Southwestern Ohio All-Star Cross- Country Team, placed fourth in the S.W.B.L. meet and barely missed qualifying for the state meet in Columbus. Although frequent- ly over shadowed by his talented sophomore team- mate, Gary Loe, David, neverthe- less, beat Gary when it counted and currently holds the school record of 10:04.
