'7fuAf7f Tru Hu Y has had an unterestung year for uts 35 members The year began wuth the unductuon un the Chrustuan Church Shortly after our unductuon we went to Covungton to put on theur unductuon Our assembly program un February consusted of a quuz program and several musucal numbers A dance was sponsored by the club Aprul I8 In November our club took lunch at the Y M C A At varuous meetungs we have had duscussuons on boy and gurl problems re luguon personaluty and vocatuons Our meeturugs open wuth devotuons and close wuth the fruendshup curcle and sentence prayers A farewell for the senuors was held at Sugar Grove the last week of school Offucers thus year were Presudent Katherune Wunkler Vuce Presudent Joanne Snuder Secretary Phyllus Hullman Treasurer Grace Mathews and Chaplaun .loyce Shank Our advusors were Musses Dorene Clark and Thelma Mutchell We attempt to Iuve by our motto To create mauntaun and extend through out the school and communuty hugh standards of Chrustuan Character 40414 Both a formal and unformal unutuatuon was held at the begunnung of the year for new members We attended the County Rally at Germantown The re guonal meetung was held at our school As club projects we made stuffed anumals bed uackets and 6000 paper bed sude bags for the Red Cross collected several hundred artucles of clothung for the needy redecorated the teacher s rest room and purchased a pressure auce pan and two staunless steel pans for the Home Econ Department We also sponsored Courtesy Week for the Hugh School and had an assembly program un connectuon wuth Courtesy Week Dorotha Hardung broadcast a revuew of the club actuvutues over WHIO Our regular meetung consusted of book revuews talent show unformal dus cussuons of unterest to teen age gurls games and refreshments 94 l O L1 ' 1 , .
