a mov1e entrtled Hellszapapprn October 4 ond 5 1946 These were great days wher1 the Senrors went to Howard Knolls studro to have therr class prctures taken We made two days of It because the cla s was too large to be taken rn one day October 9 1946 We had a specral program presented by the Wade Quartette They put on a flne musrcal show for the Students at Madrson October 11 1946 The H1 Y sponsored a hayrlde where the fellovrs a11d grrls enjoyed the long rrde to Mr Shellhaas barn for eats games and square dancrng and the lo11g r1de home October 1 8 1 946 The F H A decorated the cafeterra lll beautrful gay colors and a lot of balloons Yes thrs was gorn., to be a da11ce The musrc was supplred by Lowell Rogers and hrs orchestra October 25 ond 26 1946 The trme had come for the Ju111ors to put on tht tradrtronal Junror class play After a lot of hard practrce and memorrzrng lrnes they produced 11 three act comedy e11t1tled Everythrng Happens to Us November 8 1946 football season the football fellows had a brg foot ball banquet whrch rncluded a d1n11er talks and the awards that were earned November 27 28 29 30 1946 From the begrnnmg of the year Mr Zerkle and the musrc dcpartment produced our annual MID strel and rt rncluded everythlng that a mrnstrel l1as It was a great success December 7 9 1946 In fact the Mlnstrel was such a success that we gace a command performance on the sexenth of December And agarn on the nrnth from whrch we gave the profrts to the new Mad1son Athletrc Freld December 19 1946 After all the act1vrt1es of the musrc department the musrc students and therr parents had a supper December 20 1946 School d1SmlSS6d for Chrrstmas vacatron The H1 Y topped It off wlth a very nrce Chrrstmas dance The musrc was by Lowell Rogers and hrs orchestra Everyone had a swell trme and was ready for a vacatron March 4 1947 The H1 Y agarn put on another movre It was The Power of God and rt was very good Februo ry 27 1947 The F H A presented a Good Groomrng Frlm to all the hrgh school glrls Every one seemed to profrt by lt Morch 6 1947 We had a Smclarr Spellrng Bee 1n the audrtorrum and the wrnners and contestants were grven vert nrce grfts A lot of door prlzes were grven also Dale Terrell 'rnd Wrr11f1ed Hartzell were the Wlll ners Morch 6 1 947 The F H A presented an assembly program based on courtesy I belreve everyone learned a good lesson March 28 29 1947 The Senror Class gave then play Mrdmght was a mystery comedy ID three acts It was a great success Morch 29 1947 At n1ne oclock Saturday n1orr1111g ten chosen gnls left for Jefferson school to partrcrpate 111 grrls sports It was ar1 actrve day and evervone lelt trred but happy Ar1111 7 The Hr Y gave an old fash1or1ed box socral 111 M1 Shellhaass barn they had an auctron ar1d corn huskrng wlth red ears It was someth1ng new to us Aprrl 16 1947 A charm and persor1alrty frlnr was shown to the the hlgh school boys and grrls It l1as helped every one to a certarn extent on tl1err charm and per sonallty Apr.: 17 1947 The second year shortl1a11d students took a trrp rnto Dayton to VISIE varrous offrces and to see the th1ngs they mrght be workrng wrth sornedav Aprvl 18 1947 The Junror a11d Senror Home Economlcs 011 ls too a tr1p to the varrous rnstrtutrons to see condrtrons and reasons for such organrratrons Apr1I24 25 26 1947 Mr Zerkle and the musrc department put on a very good Sprrng Concert wl11ch consrsted of band orchestra a11d chorus Everyone enjoyed rt verv April 26 1947 We were proud to be recognrzed as an honor club at the State F H A meetrng rn Columbus at whrch trme K Mathews P Deeter W Cooper M Rohre K Jenkrns and Mrs Stockslager had thls honor bestowed upon them Mov 13 1947 The Senror class went to Columbus where they VlSlt8d tl1e penltentrary the school for the blrrrd and the state legrslature It was a very educatronal trrp Mov 23 1947 Thrs was the frrst nrght of the graduat1o11 called Class Nrght The Senrors presented the or og1an1 to drsplay therr varred actrvrtres Moy 24 1947 The Jumor Senror Prom was grve11 by the Ju111o1 rn honor of the Senrors We enjoyed a nrce ba11 quet and then a very nrce dar1ce wrth very pretty n1us1c and decoratrons It was a t1me that Mov 26 1947 Thrs IS the last brg nrght of the Senrors of 47 Proudly they walked up and recerved therr dr plomas and started on that path of lrfe whlch thu have chosen Moy 29 1947 Although the Senrors
