Seniaaeg About 1U'2 of the Madison seniors went to Roosevelt to take the senior scholarship test in competition with the top 10'L from schools of all sizes. We are proud of the seniors of 1947 in placing Madison fifth among all Dayton and Montgomery County schools. There were several schools with many times the number of seniors who were not so well repre- sented. Donald Miller placed seventh in the Dayton schools and honorable mention in the state: Bob Smith. honorable mention in Dayton schools and in the state: Jack Lan- dis and Douglas Hartzell honorable mention in the Dayton and Mont- gomery county schools.
