Super Snooper Reporter Vivian Roberts Secretary Kate Mathews Reporter Second Row Dick Judy Treasurer John Newman President Dick Bantz Reporter Mr Reed Adviser Elma Jlvufafuf The Junior class with its 52 members has been spoken of as one of the most cooperative classes at Madison Our advisor Mr Reed has returned to MHd1SOll after serving 2 years rn the armv Our Junror class play Eierythrng Happens To Us was glven two nights October 24 and 26 After many re hearsfrls mistakes 'ind worries the plav was finally presented Afterwards the cast enjoved a cast party 'rt Richard Kester s home We sponsored a paper dine from which we made S97 The plat and the paper drive furnished money for the Junior and Senior Banquet and Prom We decided to decorate in a Western style with a bridge on one end a horse saddles and other Western decorations We all were kept busy planning stavrng after school and trying to skip classes to work on programs and decorations as always happens before the prom We hare 23 boss in sports a rn baseball 4 rn basketball 10 in track 4 rn football and 2 Richard Judy and John Newman in all four sports Twelxe of our bows belong to H1 Y and 5 of our girls to Tri Hx Y At Gr rnnell Iowa College there was held an in ternational Y M C A Conference to which 1300 delegates from United States and other countries of the world came Madison Tri H1 Y sent Wanda Florx and Gra e Matthews Sexeral girls belong to the F H A club Most of them hare become JUIHOI Homemakers and a few hare become Chapter Homemakers We hate mam members in the music organizations also Frye clarrnets one flute three violins one strlnf bass one oboe one French horn A few students plat two or three instruments and mans are in 'ill four orffanrza tions band orchestra nnxed chorus and the Girls Glee club Two girls are rn Ml Zerkles dance band plus the other four organizations They are Joann Miller and Wanda Florx ln the middle of the year we gate our assembly consisting of a short play followed by a piano duet a girls trio and a boxs trio 'lo finish the year we had 1 class partx at Englewood Dam on the last day of school Nyfful Gly' yl yf yf yl ylyff yl yf y4yl yl yl' yl yl yl' yl yff yl yffyfyff ya 16 ,. 3 . ,I X Q 0 0 .., C , l ' .'
