We lost the first two games to Niagara Falls and Kenmore. Both teams out-hustled us in the last quarter to post victories. After the Christmas Holidays, Trott won five straight games, downing Lockport, North Tona- wanda, Tonawanda, La Salle and Lackawanna. After this string of victories we were tied for the League lead. Then the roof fell in. We lost three straight games to Niagara Falls, Tonawanda, and Kenmore and we were back where we started from. When the team beat Lockport and La Salle, things began to shape up better. In winning from La Salle, Trott established a school record by pouring 86 points through the hoop. The regular season ended with a 75-55 trouncing by Lackawanna. The team finished in fourth place and managed to cop the final seat in the play-offs. Lackawanna and Kenmore were favored to clash in the finals, but a stubborn, gallant, Trott team upset the apple cart by beating Lackawanna and Kenmore on successive nights. These wins enabled Trott to represent the Niagara Frontier League in the Double A Semi-Finals, which the team won quite handily beating a smaller Lancaster five, 58-35. The night of the finals in Memorial Auditorium saw a well oiled machine when Trott began to play. The team spurted in the second half to defeat Dunkirk 65-48. With these wins, Trott was crowned king of the Section V1 Double A and champions of the Niagara Frontier League Play-Offs. Coach Krumb can look forward to next year when he will have a highly rated J.V. team. The jun- ior varsity did very well, winning 13 games and losing Z5 one of which was in the play-offs. The score of those two lone defeats were: Trott J.V. 44 Tonawanda 52 Trott J'.V. 54 Niagara Falls 60 QPlay-Offs, ZZ
