FRO THE HORSES 0UTH oach XM, UR football season ended with one win and seven losses. La Salle defeated us Q W 19-0. The Trott defensive unit played an outstanding game led by Joe Masselli, Jim ll' I Q ' Monaghan, and Jerry Meitz. if W 'nn S . . 0 The second outing came to the same endg Jamestown 11, Trott 6. Willie Porter , , did some fine running and Dave Booth got the touchdown. Against North Tonawanda it was our defensive unit with Dave Booth supplying the offense. The final outsome, North 13, Trott O. Our third game was against Lackawanna. This game was a thriller. Frank Fabin put on a fine dis- play with Chirello scoring on a pass. The final score, Lackawanna 19, Trott 6. The Lockport game was all in favor of the county seaters. They were determined to win at least one game because we had defeated them for the past two years. Loekpm,-t's greater desire tg win brought them to a 6 - 0 victory. Kenmore Blue Devils had to pull out all the stops to defeat a gallant Trott eleven, 20 - 6. Fabin scored Trott's touchdown, with Booth and Meitz supplying the offensive fire works. Our outstanding game was against Tonawanda. Our defensive boys held our opponents to a minus 16 yards. Joe Masselli scored our points on a pass. Fabin, Mietz, and Townsend led the way overland. The season's finals was a real brawl. It was a case of breaks which went to Niagara Falls. Trott out- played our rivals in everything but points. Everyone in our club played an outstanding game. Little Davie Booth had the most yards per play.
