Foreword This was an eventful year at Trott. The departments of Home Economics and Business were moved to High School, and Trott became a nman's school.n The old chemistry room was taken over by the Automotive shop, and the Chemistry depart- ment moved to the first floor. Mr. Thorn's Electrical shop was expanded and our own carpentry students contributed largely to the modification. All in all, it was a year in which plans for future efficiency and expansion predominated. In the realm of statistics, total student population was tW0 hundred SiXtY-three, of which one hundred twenty-one were Sophomores, seventy-four were Juniors, and sixty-eight were Seniors. In addition to this number, there were eight senior girls receiving Trott diplomas while at High School. An increasing number of Trott's students were becoming nadvanced trainingn conscious, and were evaluating the offer- ings of the area Universities, particularly in those programs leading to Engineering degrees. They found their training ideally suited to this field. For those who were not planning to continue their train- ing in September, 1952, there was no need to look beyond the' local employment market. An industrial town of the first order found ample opportunity to employ the skills Trott's graduates had acquired. As the year came to a close, Trott's students, faculty, and administration could look back with a rewarding sense of satisfaction and completeness. All could join in, in wish- ing upon their way the Seniors, with congratulations for a job well-done. , -WK 1' - . , . 'X X j X .iv 1,35 2 , A
