It seems hard to believe that we have completed our last three years of high school and are about to graduate. We came to Trott on registration day in the fall of 1947. Our first year was the most diffi- cult as we were new here but somehow we managed to survive. We found as our classmates many veterans who came back from the war eager to continue their education. Our second year went by fairly fast and when we returned last fall we were full-fledged seniors. Last fall the Senior class was organized and chose Mr. Thorn as its advisor. The officers are Robert Barber, president, Robert Salerno, vice-president, Ioan De Santis, treasurer, and John Manarino, secretary. A We .have enjoyed our three years in Trott. After we graduate we will always carry fond memories of the good times we had here. 11

PROPHECY EING curious about the future, we visited a fortune teller one day, and when we gazed in- to her crystal ball, we were surprised to see ourselves walking into a large theater. After buying tickets from Nick Cimino, Betty Daniels, an usherette, escorted us to our seats. We noticed that there were many celebrities present in the audience. The mayor of Niagara Fall, Robert Barber, and his wife, Mary Jane were sitting in the front row with their five child- ren. Councilmen Robert Mariani, Francis McArdle and William Richardson were there also. Bob Salerno, a Niagara Falls Gazette photographer, was taking pictures. A hush settled over the audience when M. C. John Manarino walked upon the stage. He intro- duced Bill Lorenzetti and his band who played Reg Map writtenby Leighton Coolbaugh. Ro- salie Scricco did a fine job on the vocal score. We recognized some of the band members to be former Trott students. The piano player was Bill Bubarg base fiddler, Orsilio Buffoneg and trumpet player, George Briggs. Next on the program was the famous comedian, Henry Coyle. The main attraction of the evening was a skit which was written by Dolores Keiper and Her- bert Popkey. Miss Ioan De Santis, the leading lady, was lavishly dressed in silk. The vil1ain's part was taken by Donald Honadle, who wore a black cape and sported a curled mustache. Lorraine Paterson's tap dancing followed the skit. The variety show was concluded with songs by a barbershop quartet consisting of William Taylor, Benjamin Wojtowicz, Robert Fyfe, and Iohn O'Grady.
