Trofl' being a dark horse upsef fhe whole performance and developed fhe besf feam in TroH s foofball hisfory, winning six games and losing fhree. Led by Capfain Banlmowslci +he 'leam sfarfed wifh an I8-I3 loss fo 'fhe co-champs of fhe league of Dunlairlc High School. Del Zoppo and Cenfofanfi scoring for Troff. The feam as a whole played greaf defensive and offensive foofball under fhe leadership and backing abilify of Mr. Harold Cripe. Dan De Sanfis, half-back, led fhe feam in scoring wifh a 'rofal of lO5 poinfs and fhus securing a posifion on fhe Buffalo Evening News All-Sfar Team of Wesfern N. Y. Tony Lauzonis, speed demon of fhe feam, led in long runs wifh a fofal of seven, one being a 50 yard run. Nof a few games were won fhrough fhe sfeady wafer carrying of our Manager Jack Meierer. Pefer Laurendi, sfalwarf guard. was elecfed capfain of nexf year's squad. l30l

Praciically every seciion or class furnished a ieam for such sporis as baskefball, volleyball and baseball. Fiireen baslceiball ieams eniered and divided inio 'rhe usual iwo groups, senior and iunior. The Comeis under ihe managemeni of Joe Sadlo came Through io win for iheir division and fhen 'roolc on ihe All Siarsf' ihe winners of ihe Freshman division. And ihis game was also Taken wiih a 29-20 score. All shops had a volleyball ieam eniered wiih a manager for each one. There was also a ieam from ihe Commercial deparimeni and several from 'rhe High School Seciion. These games were run off raiher smoofhly by officials picked from seniors and oihers who had had experience. A large number of games were played on Saiurday mornings in order io accom- modaie 'Phe large number of ieams and compleie 'rhe schedule. Many games were forfeiied because a greai number of players were unable io come on Safurday. T321
