New Uniforms Add to Majorettes' Appearance A - Head majorette Jane Besancon smiles at the crowds as she performs during half-time. B -- Senior major- ette Cheryl Akins shows some of her twirling ability in this half-time rou- tine. C - The majorettes pose in front of the school before leading the march down to the football field. D - Preci- sion is the word for the majorettes' performance at football games. This year the majorettes were headed by Jane Besan- con. Five of the girls were sen- iors, and one was a junior. They put their heads together and tried to come up with new and different routines. The re- sults were fantastic. New outfits including arm- bands and headbands were purchased by the Triway Music Boosters and perked up the appearance of the band. EQ pf E 58 The Pep Band is made up of a small group of spirited bandsmen. These people open each home varsity basketball game by playing the national anthem. They spread spirit to the crowds at basketball games by cheering and play- ing fight songs and the jungle beat. The band celebrated the end of the basketball season with a party. Titan Talk Spreads News All Over School The school paper is pub- lished about once a month to keep us informed on the many activities going on at school. The students working on Titan Talk spend most of their time interviewing many dif- ferent people. No matter what happens at school, people on Titan Talk seem to catch every detail. Under the leadership of Mr. Coleman, the Titan Talk al- ways delivers the news on time. Students eagerly look forward to each issue.
