Prom Goers Enjoy Romantic Atmosphere After dinner couples pro- ceeded to the Shreve Armory where they danced in an at- mosphere of chivalry in King Arthur's Court. Couples en- tered the castle through a drawbridge surrounded by a moat that was inhabited by a huge green dragon. Stone cas- tle walls were ornamented with medieval torch-like lamps and shields. Excaliber, King Ar-A thur's famous sword, was em- bedded in a large paper mache rock that sat in the center of the dance floor. Although couples started to leave the dance at 11:00, many were still enjoying the music of Sunn- town up to the last minute of 11g30. From 12:30-5:00 A.M. tired prom-goers assembled at the YMCA for the post prom. Many couples spent the evening swimming, playing ping pong, pool, and various other games, while others danced to the mu- sic of Skye in the gym. Two movies, The Life a-nd Times of Judge Roy Bean and The Reivers were also shown to end a night filled with many fond memories.
