Assemblies Get Triway Students Involved Variety and student involve- ment helped to make this year's assemblies more inter- esting. Students got into the action as Charles King pre- sented an entertaining reper- toire of singing and tunes called Music in the Air on October 11. American history was brought to life by Jim Green and Bill Johnson, two talented young actors. The program was called Spies and Trai- tors. At the end, a group of students acted as jury in the trial of an Anderson prison master. The next assembly, per- formed by Jean Max-Sam, in- formed students about the dances and customs of Haiti, his native land. Students were asked to come on stage to learn native Haiti dance, while Jean provided an African beat on his bongo drum. A The National Honor Society Induction was held on March 18 as twenty students were added to the ranks of Triway scholars. The induction in- cluded a description of leader- ship qualities and poetry. The members of the Woost- er Exchange Club presented Triway with the Freedom Shrine, a collection of historic documents, on April 11. Mr. W.J. Watson, principal, accept- ed the shrine for the school. To finish the year, the Stu- dent Council sponsored the movie, Maurie on May 2. Cn J' T 'ilr is A 1-5
