Villain Strikes Again in the Drunkard On November 16 and 17 under the direction of Mrs. Hamilton and student direc- tor, Marianne Stutz, melo- drama was the name of the game as the Triway Thespians presented a delightful version of The Drunkard. The audience entered into the spirit of the play by hissing and booing the villain. Several Vaudeville acts also spiced the show with comedy and amuse- ment. The action of The Drunk- ard revolves around the vil- lainous lawyer, Cribbs, and his scheme to rob Edward, our young and handsome hero, of his rich estate and beloved wife, Mary. Cribbs plans to do this by turning Edward into a drunkard. Edward falls hope- lessly into the lawyer's evil trap. When all seems lost, Mary stumbles upon a miracle cure for Edward's love of rum. Cribb's plans are foiled and once again good triumphs over evil. all '4u.,,.E
