Srs. Find Meaning in Combined Ceremonies The thirteenth annual grad- uation exercises of Triway High School were held June 1, 1975, with 170 seniors re- ceiving their diplomas. Bacca- laureate and commencement were combined into one cere- mony for the first time in Tri- way history. Reverend Ed Davidian was the guest speak- er with the topic Actions Speak Louder than Words. In expanding the theme of his speech, each graduate was given a new one dollar bill as he marched out of the gym- nasium. The class was pri- veleged to have a local group consisting of Susan Peterson, Tom Peterson, and John Tay- lor sing the class song, Poems, Prayers, and Prom- ises. Stu Starr, Class Presi- dent, presented the class gift of a monetary donation to the Cancer Fund. Diplomas were presented by Board of Edu- cation president John Ziegler. Graduation was held in a packed gymnasium due to ad- verse weather. ...fl ks. new law? 140
