L'-9. 30, 19-97 ' Reunion For Class of 1964 Members of the Tripoli Community High School Class of 1964 met for their silver anniversary class reunion on the weekend of August 12 and 13. The two- day reunion was attended by 35 people and 23 of this group were class members. The class of 1964 had 44 graduates. Class members and their guests met at the Julian Inn in Dubuque for a social hour and were joined by Dr. Howard Pigg and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Smith of Dubuque, who were former administrators at Tripoli Community School. They also enjoyed a 2112 hour dinner cruise aboard the Island Princess yacht and later met at the hotel for games and reminiscing. The group met again on Sunday morning for breakfast and socializing. They also made a 375 donation to the Tripoli Library building fund. Classmates attending the reunion were: First row Cl to rl, Mike Fink, Cedar Falls: Dennis Hagedorn, Cedar Falls. Third row tl to ri, Keith Heffernan, Waukee: Wanda Haynes Niemeyer, Frederika: Nancy Mueller Bonorden, Waverly: Marilyn Beam Dettmer, Ionia: Mary Jean Thies Pint, Denver: and Marian Stumme Meyer, Tripoli. Fourth row il to ri, Marshall Wilharm, Middletown, New Jersey: Evelyn Hahn Hills, Elgin: Sheryl Magnall Drewis, Oak Hill, Kansas: Joann Buchholz Blasberg, Waverly: Gerald Buhrow, Readlyn: and Doug Boeckmann, Dubuque. Fifth row Cl to ri, Connie Heinemann Heine, Waverly: Jolene Dettmer Lindsey, Loveland, Colorado and Margene Schuldt Makinster, Waterloo. The reunion planning committee consisted of Virgil Block, Sheryl Drewis and Marilyn Dettmer.
