The winners were: Audrey, Richard, Sharon.Marheine, Marilyn, Gail, Sharon Belcher,BPUC0, Glen, Dale, Beverly, Tim, Violet, James Metsala, and Sandra Stanley, so they represented the school at the League Contest at Glen playa and the District Contest at Hurley. Bruce, Glen, Tim, Violet, Marilyn, Gail, Sharon Belcher, and Beverly reached the final round at the League Contest and Violet and Sharon received 'A' ratings. Violet and Bruce were the only ones to reach the finals at Hurley. Each of them received a 'B' rating.

During the season the Tripoli Tornadoes won the South Division Championship by defeating Prentice, Hawkins, and Glen Flora. The League Championship game was played at Park Falls. The game was between Tripoli and the NorthDi- vision champions, Glidden. Tripoli played a hard, fast game that was high light- ed by hard hitting and sharp fielding. The final score was 4 to 3 in favor of Tripoli. The highlight of the game was a home run by Neil Belke and a triple by Duane Eelke.
