WW www We the Senior Class of Triplett High School the year of 1954 in the town of Mt, Jackson, County of Shenandoah,State of Virginia being in sound mind, lasting memory and good temper as usual do ament Therefore revoking any and all other wills made by us at any time before Item I To our principal, Mr Swartz, we bequeath our sincere apprec lation and everlasting graditude for all the hardships he has en dured for our pleasures May he feel that they were worth while We thank you for your generosity in allowing so many of us to be here tonight Item II the faculty, we leave our wholeheatted thanks and appreciation for the interest they have taken in us, instead of bbeking other fields Item III To the freshman, we will our well known ability to learn and part of our knowledge and patience to help you Even though you are young, may you never give up until your goal is reached Item IV To the sophomores we leave some of the beams from our radient faces and our gaiety so that after we have passed out of exiltence there will be some life around Triplett Item I To the juniors we leave our senior dignity and intelligence We also leave the senior classroom, our place in chapel, and all possible shortcuts in civics and English May your graduation be like ours, a grand and glorious one. Item VI Ralph Bauserman, wills his well-known mischlevious ability and independence with the girls to John Biller so as to liven up Triplett after we have departed. Barbara Jordan and Patricia Kagey will their musical ability andngift of gabn to Ruth Beedle and Margaret Lloyd. Glenn Weatherholtz wills his basketball shoes, size lbf, and part of his height and weight to Don Burch. Mary Harpine and Doris Lloyd leave their shyness and quietness to Jackie Zehring and Kay Myers. Fern Craig wills her artistic ability to Reva Spiggle and Ruth Polk, Frankie Funkhouser wills his dramatic ability and never endless business to Carroll Littdn. Gertrude Ball and Martha Bowers leave their friendly personalities and happy attitudes to Shelby Dellinger and Thelma Funkhouser Robert Green wills his muscles to Ronald Allen Don Richardson leaves his ability to write short stories and essays also hls manners to Donnie Litten Mavis Steadman bequeaths her pleasant smile to Patsy Funk ship to Betty Frye and Mary Jane Barb Donald Sager and Donald Moomaw bequeath their wavy hair and dignity to David Bowers and David Tusing Bobby LeDane wills his ability to gossip also his basketball suit No 25 to Ripley Smoot in hopes Ripley will make more use of it than Bobby, known as splinters Dorothy Newland wills her ability to blush to Luella Estep and Judy Bird Willard Lutz wills his chemistry book and all written experiments to Kathleen Lutz Warren Sager leaves his hatred of all women to Edgar Lamma Buddy Gordon has decided to leave his protractor and ruler and his ability to pick on girls to Bdmund Miller CAlthough he has a good startj Bill Bowers bequeaths his mathematical mind which hasn't fully developed to Edland Barb Sherrill Massie wills her place in the Beta Club to Emily Bowman and Bonnie Fleming Fred Bowers and Wayne Kimble and Donald Fadely have decided not to will a thing They just want to leave To all of you we will our memories and best wishes.
