15 wrong As the class of 1954 sees its high school years end it is not without regret that it prepares to be welcomed into the com pany of high school graduates The ascent to this climax of our school years has been long, but filled with pleasures and many rich experiences To mention all of them would be impossible, to list a few is to sub ordinate perhaps the most important of all The closl association with our teachers and the accumulation of knowledge we have gained from them the contacts with our friends and fellow classmates basketball games, school parties,Jun1or and Senior plays,May Da the pride we feel when we sing our nAlma later these have been made the past four years the most memorable of our life Remembering is the privilege of a senior, and as we look at the familiar halls, classrooms and books, we recall the deep rooted memories of our years Under the leadership of sponsors Miss houser we Buchanan, Reporter class Mr our class organized our freshman class Vice President Don Secretary Dorothy Newland, Treasurer Jean Click, and Betty Newland completed our officers In our sophomore Luther Sim ons sponsor and James Hodges president led That year Jean Click was Vice President, Secretary Bobby LeDane, Treasurer Melvin Polk and Reporter Virginia Emswiler Mr Waldo Bowers had the honor of putting up with us in our junior year Officers were President Ralph Bauserman, Vice President Melvin Polk, Secretary Frankie Funkhouser, Treasurer Dorothy Newland and Reporter Sherrill Massie In our senior year Ralph Bauserman was Paaeldehbd as president and Mr Roy Lutz served as our sponsor. Vice-President Gertrude Bally Treasurer-Melvin Polkg Sergeant-at-arms-Glenn Weatherholtz, The Daisy Chain, which we, the responsibility of the Juniors, is not green but a reverend tradition. We have come to that day which -Dorothy Newlandg Secretary- Reporter- Virginia Emswilerg seniors consider the biggest just a rope of white and marks the beginning of a new phase of our life. The scroll of parchment in our hand is our ticket to tommorrow, Not the parchment itself but what it repre- sents is our standard. It is the reward for our climb up the mountain. Proud to be a part of Triplett we the class of '54 eagerly look ahead.
