cleans of student life Dr. Mary I. Champion, Trinity's new Asso- ciate Dean ot Student Lite, is from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Dean Champion attended Columbia University and Oregon State Col- lege and has received her bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees. Among the honorary organizations ot which she is a member are Phi Kappa Phi, Pi Lambda Theta, Kappa Delta Pi and the American Association ot University Women. Dean Champion, while Dean ot Women at New Mexico State College, was also president ot the State Dean's Association ot New Mexi- co. Besides the iob ot Associate Dean here at Trinity, she is also a writer. Last year, along with a protessor from Indiana, she had an article published in Educational Screen on the Indexing ot Audio-Visual Materials Using the Punch Card System. JABE L. BOSTWICK Dean of Student Life MARY I. CHAMPION Associate Dean of Student Life Jabe L. Bostwick, a native ot Seville, Ohio, came to Trinity in April, I955 as Dean ot Stu- dent Lite. Dean Bostwick attended Denison University in Granville, Ohio and received his bacheIor's degree in geology from Wooster College, Ohio in I927. A year atterward, he received his master's in geography and physi- ography from Columbia University. He has completed a year and a halt ot study toward his doctorate at Harvard University. Dean Bostwick, tormer vice president ot the National Association ot Deans and Advisors ot Men, has had experience in the tield ot counseling tor 27 years. His assignments have been at the University ot Minnesota and the University of New Mexico. He also served as lieutenant in the U. S. Navy tor two years as education otticer in the Navy V-I2 program at the University ot Michigan and as com- manding otticer ot the V-I 2 program at Whit- man College at Walla Walla, Washington.
