Wow, this is Trinity! These were the words of Chris Blackwell and many other Sophomores on their first day at Trinity high school as they became of- ficial Trojans. If the realization of being in high school hadn't set in during the summer it did at registration. As one Sophomore put it, I was confused, tired, and ready to cry. Many Sophs felt this way, but did like being able .to choose their own classes and periods. The first doy arrived with many scared and excited students. Jill Morrow stated, I felt apprehensive because I wasn't sure about what was going on. Most students were confused as to where their classes were, but made it through the day without too many fatalities. Something else new that the Sophomores were experiencing for the first time was a Trinity pep rally. Joe Maloney felt this way towards the first one, lt was great because there was more of a competitive spirit between the classes. The Sophomores really sur- prised many people by getting so in- volved during the pep rallies and not being afraid to show their spirit. Some advice that Russ Dothel had to give to oncoming sophs would be, Stay clear of M.O.C.T. Chris Blackwell said, Grow up a little before you get here.
