1 This year's talent show was another success due to the skillful direction of Mrs. Jan Schronk. The theme for this year's show, which was presented by the Thespian Troupe 1776, displayed several aspects of a colorful circus. Like the circus, the talent show offered a wide variety of acts. From the delightful singing of Dan Hall and Tracy Farney, to the dynamic dancing of Pat Culbert, one perceived that this was not an ordinary talent show. The audience obviously en- joyed the limitless ideas for acts. ln all, there were thirty-six performances. Each one was different from any other act. The ringmaster for the evening was J. C. Caffrey, who told the attentive audience about the oncoming acts. The stage band contributed to a good portion of the talent show by performing three numbers. Their precision andjazz beat was enjoyed by all. Of course what would the talent show have been without the traditional routine of the Troy-MEN? Yet, moments later the real Troy-Anns, The Struttin' Studs, retaliated with their version ofa Trojan football victory. Cer- tainly, if this year's talent show was missed, it was a loss to the individual. Opposite page: Gary Offutt dedicates I Love My Truck to Jay Fitch.
