Little o Go, Go. . .l was one of many cheers that the cheerleaders performed at pep rallies, football games, basketball games, and numerous other occasions. ln order to achieve excellence the cheerleaders, Pam Chesbro, Sheryl Kuhn, Melissa McCoy, Lando Mauldin, Jackie Svochak, Debbie Haass, Sandy Lauridsen, and Lynette Mercer attended Stephen F. Austin State University with forty-five other squads from all parts of Texas. From 360 girls at camp, Melissa McCoy was chosen All-American cheerleader based on her spirit, sharpness, and tumbling. Pat Culbert, Mike Kruzel, and Mike Whittaker were the outstanding yellmen that assisted the cheerleaders in their agile feats. In addition to the varsity cheerleaders, the junior varsity cheerleaders, which included Diane Darrow, Suzy Dyer, Shawn Gray, Angie Howse, and Michelle Schaeffer, cheered the junior varsity football team on to an undefeated season. Mrs. Barbara Ross deserved special credit for her choreography, the skills of the cheerleaders, and the coor- dination ofthe pep rallies. No school would be complete without a mascot to boost spirit and represent the vitality of our school. Kim Standridge did an excellent job of representing Trinity's tremendous school spirit.
