Mrs. Dee Yeats was appropriately awarded with this title for the 1961-82 year. Throughout her nine years at Trinity, Mrs. Yeats has been extremely dedicated to the Speech and Drama departments. Although she no longer teaches these classes, she participated as contest director for UIL competi- tion for her third year. Mrs. Yeats is now teaching English and Spanish. Besides being notably gifted in these areas, Mrs. Yeats gives much of her time and talent to enjoy sing- ing in Community Choirs and in the designing and sewing fields. Mrs. Yeats is remarkably devoted to her work and gives her entire being to make her teaching creatively interesting for her students. Her in-depth concern for each student's in- dividual character allows for a special student-teacher rela- tionship that students can confide in. She is continuously teaching on and off campus. Mrs. Dee Yeats' incredible knowledge is unlimited, making her a very respected teacher deserving of the title of Teacher of the Year.
