The Trinity Girls track team has had an excellent year. The performance by the athletes was a tremendous im- provement over last year. The girls team won four meets, placed second in two meets, and placed third at District. Also, ten new school records were set. The girls worked extremely hard and dedicated themselves to winning. They were rewarded at every track meet with good performances and high places. The effort put forth by each individual allowed the team to place higher in the district meet than ever before. Personal best times and performances were numerous. The outstanding team members and their events were: Ann Neal in the shot-put: Desty Hall, shot-put and discus: Rachel Brown, high jump, long jump, and triple jump: and Susan Carter, hurdles and triple jump. The two members who made it to Regionals were Ann Neal and Rachel Brown. The overall performance of the athletes was excellent. Each girl put forth her best effort and strove to be winners.
