an 'lla :M fl? 'Sigh-'i 9 M- A 4 1-fwtwq ia- -Qi Q- AL The Trinity Wrestling Team was victorious this past year after working hard since September. Their final dual record was satisfactory having won six, lost seven, and tied one. They did well in the tournaments. ln the R. L. Turner Tourna- ment they came out in eighth place and in the Equitable Tournament, Trinity placed fourth. ln their tournament, the wrestling team placed sixth and later took second place in the district meet. The Trinity Wrestling Team had twelve members qualify for regionals. They were: Keith Hicks, Steve Russell, Charles Mize, Terry Dale, Jeff Harrison, Mark Carl, Eric Ruffu, Mike Douthit, Scott Green, Bruce Keffer, Bobby Keplinger, and Jack Franke. At the regional tournament held at Bishop Lynch, Trinity's Jeff Harrison and Mark Carl both placed third. Eric Ruffu also placed third. Scott Green, Bruce Keffer, and Jack Franke placed second. Of these wrestlers three qualified for state. These three were: junior Scott Green, senior Bruce Keffer, and junior Jack Franke. Bruce Keffer took second in state competition.
