An abundance of electives in addition to several solid courses were open to each Junior. Juniors also had the option of arranging their schedule to fit their needs. For instance a Junior could have taken five classes first trimes- ter, four the second, and go home after third period during the Spring tri. Junior Year Proves Fuhfilling Ana' Rewarding At the beginning of the 1977-1978 school year the Class of '79 had Honly just begun, yet at the close of the same year they were almost finished. The trials experienced by every mid- dlemann helped to mold his character and contributed to the growth of his matu- rity. However, most Juniors had other motives for com- ing to THS. Some came to have fun, some to get involved, and yes, some even to get an education. But whatever the reason, it was fulfilling as well as rewarding. LEFT: Getting an education was very important to many Juniors including David Sweet who put that at the top of his priorities.
