Seniors exhibited a great deal of school interest and enthusiasm this year. This evident, due to their involvement in many different events that occurred at Trinity throughout the school term. Their eagerness at Homecoming allowed them to win first place in the float competition. Sponsoring a foster child at Christmas was the service project. Selling 'T'-Shirts, sponsoring the Disco '76 Dance and children's movie matinee were several activities that all seniors could participate in. Amid the rumors of the seniors being an apathetic class, these activities proved to everyone that the spirit of '76 was still very much alive. .........-Q..c,.-,.w..,,....a..,..,.. EXCITING HOMECOMING FOR ALL Van 5930 52. ,'h' 1 ,I,V The seniors first place float. -.ey if Homecoming proved to be a warm, satisfying experience for seniors this year. After three weeks of hard, time consuming work, the seniors produced an excellent class float. The theme for all floats this year was Trinity's Heritage -the Spirit of '76. Keeping in line with this theme was difficult, since everyone was inclined r e, to think of Trinity's heritage being included with that of the country's bicentennial theme. The senior float included a miniature model of the original buildings at Trinity, representing the beginning of Trinity High School, a bronzed bust of a Troianhead - representing Trinity's mascot, and a bronzed eagle symbolizing the free spirit of all students at the school.
