First quarter action produced more yards than points for the Trojans, for the team gained 74 yards rushing but produced only a Marty Stover field goal. Late in the period, a Trojan offensive possession was quelled by a Huskie interception. In the second period the Trinity offense gained 77 yards, scored, and went into the locker room at halftime with a 9- 0 lead. In the fourth quarter lohn Whitley and Anthony Wynn coupled talents to produce the Trojan's final scoring drive putting the score to 15-0, Trojan's favor. Hirschi's only score came on a run by leff Matthews on a fourth down play at the Trinity 16 yard line. It cancelled the shutout the Trojan defense wanted, but in no way threatened the final outcome of the game. . .Trinity - 15, Hirschi -6.
