TRAINING THROUGH TECHNICAL SKILLS TRADES Building Trades is a portion of VICA offered at the Career Center A selected group of boys build a house under Instruction at a chosen location each year Club members compete with other building trades departments at district and state contests each year The Annex VICA program is designed to give students a background experience in their chosen fields of study. Careers in Auto Paint and Body, Mechanics and Radio and T.V. are analyzed and studied in these courses. Students learn and compete against students of other schools for place in city, district and state competition. , 'YY'

if COSMETGLOGISTS STUDY THE ART OP BEAUTY Students enrolled in trained to be beauticians. Two classes, one for juniors, the other for Seniors, spends the majority of its time learning theory, practicing hair dressing and involving itself in competition. This competition involves the Vocational Industrial Clubs of America who enter contests on national levels and international levels for skill of all phases of hairdressing. At Christmas time, the students had lunch at Pancho's.
