This year HERO collected food for a needy family at Thanksgiving and had a Christmas reception for their parents and employers. They also had a banquet for their employers in February. In March HERO attended an area meeting in Ft. Worth and in April, a State Convention in Denton, Mrs. Roberta Henry is the organization's sponsor. The activities also aid members in becoming productive citizehs by teaching them proper attitudes and character.
