GCT Vocational Opportunities Clubs of Texas consists of young men and women enrolled in Industrial related CVAE, and CVAE Cooperative Training courses at Trinity High School. Club members are given the opportunity to take part in educational, community, school, social, recreational, and vocational activities. Their programs are designed to develop leadership and follower-ship self-confidence, personality, and poise. The activities also aid members in becoming productive citizehs by teaching them proper attitudes and character. This year HERO collected food for a needy family at Thanksgiving and had a Christmas reception for their parents and employers. They also had a banquet for their employers in February. In March HERO attended an area meeting in Ft. Worth and in April, a State Convention in Denton, Mrs. Roberta Henry is the organization's sponsor.
