Youth of Today Hold the Key for Tomorrow The Key Club, an organization in its second year at Trinity, is the youth division of the Kiwanis International. The main purposes of the Key Club are to develop character and leadership by involving young men in local and school related service projects. Some of these projects were the Christmas bell ringing for the March of Dimes, formation of a Big Brother System, and the bike-a-thon for diabetes. The sponsor is Mr. Curtis Clegg. With the help of Mr. Clegg, the Key Club organizes another project Officers - Harold Widener, David Wagoner, jerry Bishop, and H. L. Humphries. HGMEMAKERS BRI C- TALE T T0 ASSEMBLIES 5 AID AREA I STITUTIONS THRU SERVICE PRCDIECTS One of the best assemblies of the year at Trinity was sponsored by the Future Homemakers of America and featured the Panther City Pickers and Earthroom. A Halloween and Christmas party at the Euless Nursing Home plus a Mother-Daughter Field Trip are examples of the service projects the club is involved in each month. ln March the club went to Denton for the FHA area meeting and April found the two outstanding club members attending the FHA state meeting. 1 l FHA member Troy Hall talks to Santa at the party for the Euless Nurs- ing Home folk.
