WELTON At the beginning of the 1969- 1970 school year Superintendent of H. E. B. schools, Mr. Charles Wages took command for his sec- ond year. With the coming of a new year there is a dawning of new ideas. The school board works to increase educational opportunities for all students and raise the status of every form of teaching. The board also aids in handling the complex work that has to do with the financial and administrative supervision of the schools. As a result of Mr. Wages and the school boards efforts, our school system has grown to contain the many facili- ties it has today, 47
