g Indusfrial Aris Industrial arts courses are designed to give student exploratory experiences in several areas of industry. Although the courses are not vocational in nature, they may lead to a vocation for some students. Metals, woodworking, and drafting are three areas of industry studied in general shop. Students work in bench and wrought metal, sheet metal, welding, foundry, and machine shop. Both hand and machine methods of constructing projects of wood are incorporated in woodworking. Two approaches to drafting, industrial and pre- college, are also provided.
