Mr. Morris directs Randall Davis in posi- tioning his ball. Trinity's P.E. Department provides ex- cellent facilities for our physical education program. Gymnastic equipment is avail- able for use, also a special weight room is provided. For swimming purposes a new Olympic-size pool is furnished. A boys' and girls' gym are also used regularly. Our Health Department provides back- ground knowledge for a more healthful existence in our modern society. Students are instructed in the functioning of the human body and cause and prevention of disease. Home Economics The goal of the homemaking department is to help the individual to live a useful and satisfying personal family and community life. The course of study is designed to assist students in developing within themselves outstanding ideals, attitudes, convictions, purposes, understandings, and loyalties which help them achieve satisfying home living. The program is centered on home activities and relationships which will enable the youth to assume the responsibilities of homemaking, Trinity High has provided us with complete lab facilities. The methods of teaching homemaking include group discussions, demonstrations, and an opportunity to join millions of other girls in the nation in the Future Homemakers of America.
