Mr. Charles Wages, Superintendent of schools, is assisted by Mr. Ben Johnson, Mr. Bobby Hammond, and MI. Parks. These men deal with the fields of finance, curriculum, and other important functions in the H,E.B. school system. Mr. Wages has been in the H,E,B, school system for twelve years, this being his first year as the superintendent of schools. The main goal of the Board of Education is to link the schools with the community. Mr. Carl Huetter, president of the Board, has been in office for four years serving as secretary and president. The Board and Administrative staff are to be com- mended for their constant dedication to the tasks of planning schools and their location and attempt- ing to meet the educational demands of a rapidly expanding system. Thus the Board of Education assumes the heavy responsibility of linking the schools with the com- munity. Mr. Murrag Foresees Tomorrow . . . Today Mr, B. J. Murray, principal of Trinity High, has been in the field of teaching for fifteen years. I-le served as principal at Central Jr. High for three years, he has also had previous experience as a teacher, as- sociate principal, and football coach. Mr. Murray takes a special interest in student body activities.
