Football kicked off the athletic program at Trinity High School. The Trojans fielded a varsity team of forty-four juniors and sopho- mores, and a freshman team of thirty-eight ninth graders. The freshmen played a nine game schedule in the Big Twe1ve Confer- ence and finished the season with an excellent record of six wins and three losses. The varsity played an extremely tough ten game schedule of Ft. Worth-Dallas teams. Although the Trojans were defeated five times during the season, the coaches felt that it was a very successful start for the young Trojans. Next year the Trojans will compete with some of the top 4A teams in the area. In addition to playing the game well and striving for victory. The Trojan coaching staff and players promote a spirit of good sport manship and teamwork, emphasizing the qualities of honesty, integrity, loyalty, per- serverance and strength of Character.
