Fuiure Homemakers of America The FHA is a voluntary organiza- tion that teaches its members citizen- ship and moral standards in and out of the community. By being a mem- ber, one learns the qualities of being a good housewife and mother. This year the FHA made gifts for the con- valescent home and later went Christ- mas caroling. The FHA is under the leadership of Mrs. Smith and Mrs, Henry. FTA SPONSORS: Mrs. Glenda Johnson, Mrs. Juana Hill, and Mr. Jack Ingle. The Future Teachers of America attempts to stimulate student interest in the teaching profession. By working with faculty mem- bers, students are given the opportunity to see the teaching profession from a new per- spective. The club's activities included Twirp Week - five days highlighted by slave auctions, play day, and the hillbilly dance. Mrs. Glenda Johnson, Mrs. Juana Hill, and Mr. Jack Ingle direct the activi- ties of the newly formed organization as club sponsors.
