Silllllll CLASS PRUPHECY It is the year 19695 I have been invited to the Trinity High Auditorium to an assembly program by the Seniors of this year. The gym is beginning to get crowded, I see many familiar faces. Gosh! Here comes Dr. and Mrs. Willie Meadows. Who is his wife? lt's ........ It's ...... Beverly Elder. I always thought they would marry. Look who's behind them. It's Rev. W. F. Roberts and some other preachers. Yes, there are Reverends, Joe Brown, Murray Cates and Gordon Carmichael. They all look so much better. Here comes Earnest Peirce and Cleatha Bailey, both working in Hollywood as a comedy team. Gee! This place is crowded and more are coming. There're Allen Brooks and Henry Stephens going down that aislei both are famous tennis players. Oh boy! What a pleasant sight to see. Ialways thought it would come true ..... Mr. and Mrs. Allen Halliman, both are science teachers at Harvard University. His wife, of course, is Dorothy Bolden. Hi! Dot, where are Blondie and Annette? Oh! They're inlndia on a missionary assignment for the Jehovah Witnesses. They can't be here today. Well, here comes Sandra Lindsey and Cheviene Jones who have just returned from a tour around the world with the Sears Lee Concert Orchestra. I hear that Leroy Ross and Richard Spearman are two of the greatest clarinet players in the country. Gee!I'm proud of them? you never can tell whats ..... Hello Dear! My! You have changed, Bettye Maddox, from the person I knew years ago. Do you know Bettye is a great fashion de- signer in Paris? What a wonderful surprise! This is like a familyreunion. There's Bobby Welch. I heard he and Bob Tolbert are doing research work on agermtheory that has been discovered: I think it' s the Broncy Bycolds germ: The results of this research will clarify the longevity of colds. Dot, did you see Johnny Sims and Wylie Kilpatrick on TV last week? They were simply marvelous. Johnny is doing the singing and Wylie is dancing. That was a worth while act. Jerry, what's Horace Fowler doing? Oh! There he comes with Wylie and Johnny. He's their manager, you know. Gosh oh Gee! Bobby Treadwell has lost so much weight. He looks wonderful. You know he's a professional football player with the Cleveland Browns. He is a very good quarter back and I think he's as good as Eddie LaBarren. You know he still is quarterback for the Washington Redskins. Well, Dot, tell me about Roland Maddox and William Brown. I see them coming in the door now. I heard over the radio last week that they werea wrestling team and they hold the Worlds' Champ.onship. Good for them. l'm so enthused over what my classmates have done. Do you remember our senior year? We were in trouble most of the time, espec- ially the girls. Who's that handsome guy over there? Boy! Look at that exquisite outfit. It's Willie Henry Norris. Look! There's Louise Keyton and Billy Myrick, they are in the movies as Mr. and Mrs. North, a very good drama team I think. I think I hear a very familiar voice. What a surprise! It's Johnny Moses. He's manager of a large chain of drugstores in California. Jesse Broughton, James Rivers and Frank Choates are to speak in assembly today. I think they are football coaches at U. C.L.A. The play is ready to begin. It seems as if it is going to be a very good play. Look who's coming in late. They were never on time while going to school. Allen Mathis and Bobby Reynolds' names were always on the tardy list. Bobby is principal here now and Allen is principal at Beacon Elementary. Seated with me is my assistant Alfred Bailey. I am Geraldine Stephens. We both are Clinical Technicians at the University of Rome in Rome, Italy. The principal has now gone forward, so let's listen, watch and take note.
