Smiles, friendly hello's and o en ears, were all art of Wlednescllay, August 24, 1583. For the fresh- men, it was the beginning of the last four years of school. For the sopho- mores, it was the change of no long- er being little freshmen . For the juniors, it be an a preview of Se- nior life, and for the 1984 graduat- ing Seniors, it was the first day of the last year of high school football games, close friendships, home- work, and the anticipation of grad- uation. Dark tanned faces, freckles, and lightened hair left impressions of lon , sunny summer days spent by pooqs and beaches. Now, it was time to get serious and to cherish all of the memories ofsummer romances and fun activities. It wasn't so bad being with all the friends who had somehow dis- appeared during summer vacation. The halls and classrooms were filled with adventures from the summer. It was a day spent in rep- aration of 179 more school Clays. Soon, summer would fade into fall and winter.
