Appreciation for the theatre is gained in Mr. A. D. Hiatt’s dramatics class. This year the stu- dents have attended several plays including Shakespeare’s mulshe Comedy of Errors,” and movies. Analyzing these plays and movies is part of the class work as well as writing an original one-act play, pantomiming, analyzing characters, characterizing, and build- ing the set for the Senior play. Make-up, costuming and lighting are also stressed. The Dramatics Club meets monthly and stresses theatre appreciation. Students perform at these meetings. Dramatics Club officers Lynn Bradshaw, secretary, Vicki Cook, treasurer; Ron Blackmon, vice-president; and Bobby Hawkins, president with advisor A. D. Hiatt. Many talented gifted students.
