Physical Education Girls' physical education at Trinity this year was an ac- tive program. Gymnastics, individual and team sports, in- cluding basketball, speedball, volleyball, and softball filled the athletic calendar. Muscular co-ordination and control, physical fitness, plus much fun-filled action were worthy outcomes of the girls' season of sports. Supplying health-giving exercise for students of all needs and abilities was the goal of the boys' physical edu- cation department. Homeroom intramural contests, physi- cal education classes, and the varsity athletic program all combined to build well-rounded, alert individuals. They strove to build and maintain good sportsmanship both on the practice field and in competitive games. The courses of civics, American history, world history, and sociology and economics proved to be both valuable and informative.
