A joint Presentation - Trinity Science Club was formed in the 1969-'70 school year, its purpose being to enable club mem- bers to explore certain fields of science not readily available in the classroom. One of the highlights of the club's scientific ventures was a trip to the Land Between the Lakes near the end of November. Under the supervision of Trinity's Fr. Duerr and Presentation 's Sr. Rose, sixty students journeyed to the wilds of Western Kentucky to observe and discover certain aspects of un- disturbed nature unique to this area. A total of sixty students went on the trip. The Pres.-THS Science Club also sponsored a seminar on the theory of Continental Drift in October. Mr. Monroe, a pro- fessor at the University of Louisville, spoke to the club members on recent discoveries backing the Continental Drift theory.
