The Olympus Staff takes great pleasure in dedi- cating this edition to: MR. JAMES A. MONINGER, an alumnus and member of the faculty, in recogni- tion of his splendid Work at Trinity. During his many years of successful affiliation with Trinity students, Mr. Moninger has ably served in the capacity of English teacher, class ad- visor, and informal companion of all. The graduating class of this year is particularly indebted to him for three years of faithful service as class advisor. ' In friendship and appreciation We salute Mr. James A. Moninger.

Zin illivmnriam .V , A.. 4 H+ X.f'1'N' ALVIN JANOVICH AUGUST 24, 1928-Ocroisaa 19, 1944 Alvin Janovich, son of Eli and lVIary Janovich, of Canton Town- ship, was a Junior in Trinity High School at the time of his death. As a student in the Vocational Agriculture Department, he took a keen interest in the activities, was popular with his classmates and eager to cooperate with the Department in school in all of its work. ln his Freshman year Alvin had been a member of the football squad. At the time of his death, he was assisting members of his family in moving some farm machinery and equipment when the tractor he was driving overturned pinning the youth and inflicting severe fractures and concussions, from which he never recovered. ij ROBERT ASI-IMORE AUGUST4, 1926-Ocroieak 1, 1941 ' A member of the class of 1944 who passed from us during the Fresh- man year, Robert Ashmore was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Ash- more then of Buffalo Township. Robert was a student in the Vocational Agriculture Department and was interested in athletics particularly football. His chief interest or hobby aside from his interest in athletics was in the welding of metals.
