SENIOR CLASS HISTORY-Continued things. lVe soon had members on the honor roll and had members enrolled and taking active parts in the various school organizations. Traasurm' Having shed our freshman cloak We enjoyed the privileges and opportunities of Sophomores. This year we lost Mr. John to the Navy and hflr. Moniger Was elected to take his place. The highlights of the year were ordering class rings, a class party, and the placing of cheerleaders, who were: HELEN ENGLE GLENN DYE CORRINE FETHERLIN KENNETH BURNS We are juniors now! Two short years ago we were only freshmen and now we have nearly reached our goal-graduation. This year We chose: WILLIAM WOLF . . . ............... ........... Treasurer VVe really went places our Junior year: We edited six issues of the UI-Iiller and had the annual Junior Dance. A class party was held on May 12, 1944. The climax of the year was the prom called the Hawaiian Paradise, featuring Mor- gan Carter and his orchestra. As our fame increased our number decreased. Now as seniors we number 160. WVe have lost many boys to the Armed Services, but We carry on with high honors. To lead the class in our many activities we elected: WILLIAM VVOLF .................,............... ' On December 8, 1944, we sponsored l'Snow Dreamf' the annual senior dance, which proved to be very successful.
